Our partners at the HUB Sports Center and Spokane Valley Boys and Girls Club have provided a safe and affordable environment for play and connection over the new midwinter break, February 16-20.
Multiverse Week at the HUB Sports Center

Ages 6-11
Looking for a safe, fun and enriching space for your child when school is out? Join for one or all five days for endless fun inspired by some of your favorite movies! Spend the morning playing games and activities and the afternoon watching the movie.
Multiverse Week is designed to serve students who may not be die-hard sports fans, but would still enjoy the camp experience. The week will feature five different movie-themed days. Mornings will focus on games and activities inspired by each movie theme, while afternoons will be spent reading the corresponding books and watching the movies, and completing activities in a more traditional classroom setting.

The Boys and Girls Club at Keystone, located at the old Keystone Elementary, 612 S McDonald Road, opened in 2020 in partnership with CVSD. In June of 2023, they officially opened their doors to the public! The Keystone location serves students in grades k-12. They continue to serve Central Valley's kids & teens with their afterschool and summer programs at the Keystone Club.
CVSD buses transport students from the following elementary schools: Adams, Broadway, McDonald, Opportunity, Progress, and University. Please contact your school directly for route information.

The “HUB” is a place to connect with your community. The HUB Sports Center is a community-based regional sports venue, in partnership with other community non-profits, where youth, adults and seniors take part in a variety of events and activities. The provides events that have a positive impact on youth and the community, which includes afterschool activities and summer events.

The CVSD Student and Family Engagement Center is working to create a community hub that serves the social, emotional, academic, medical, mental health and nutritional needs of students and families in our community. All engagement center services are free and available to all children, youth, parents and families who live in CVSD regardless of social, ethnic or socioeconomic status. The school district provides services through its homeless liaisons, social workers, English language development staff, school nurses, and many other highly-qualified staff.
