What are Central Valley Learning Communities?
Our community prides itself on the quaint, relational feel of our district—in other words ‘small enough to know you, but big enough to serve you’. And that’s exactly what we aim to do by operating among three smaller community-oriented areas within our district: the Western, Central, and Eastern Learning Communities.
These Pre-K-12th grade communities will include those schools within the geographical attendance area boundaries of each of our three comprehensive high schools. This will allow us to focus on each student’s pre-school through high school and beyond pathway with smooth transitions between levels to achieve their best outcome. Imagine our entire system focused on this with an emphasis on service throughout! We are also proud to offer choice schools and learning centers as an important part of our district—providing options to fit the various needs of our students and families.
