New CVSD Student? Follow these instructions to add a student to your PowerSchool account

Log in to your PowerSchool account.
Click "Account Preferences" in the navigation menu.
Tip! If you are accessing this on a mobile phone, the navigation menu may be collapsed or hidden. Click on the small arrow on the upper left of the screen to reveal the navigation menu.
Click "Students"
Click "Add Student"
Enter the student's first and last name. Then the Access ID, which is his or her Student ID with three 9s on the end. (For example, if the ID is 127782, the Access ID is 127782999.) Then enter the Access Password, which is their birthday, with leading zeros, plus 999 on the end. (For example, for February 29, 2007 it would be: 02292007999.) Click "OK".
You have now added the student. If you have any problems, email [email protected], or call 509.558.6702.

How to Configure Email Notifications in a PowerSchool Parent Account.

Log in to your PowerSchool account.
Click on the student name in the upper left. You can set this individually for each student linked to your account. (To link a student to your account, see these instructions.)
Click "Email Notification"

Select the information you'd like to receive.
Click the "Email Address(es)" field and add the address(es) to receive the notification.
Please note: Adding an address here does not update your email address with the school(s). If you have a new email address, be sure to update it with the school's office. The official email address as parent/guardian under your student's account will receive school and district communications via email, including emergency alerts, as well as these notifications. Adding emails here is primarily to send grades, attendance, and balances specific to your student to additional email addresses.
Select how often you'd like to receive these notifications.
Click submit.
If you have more than one student, be sure to go back to the upper left of the screen and adjust your settings for each student, if needed. (You do have the option to save these settings for all students on the email notifications page. But you can set different preferences for each student.)
