Director of Communications - Marla Nunberg

Marla Nunberg has been CVSD's storyteller and director of communications since 2015 with more than 30 years of marketing, communications and public relations expertise.

 

A a member of the Superintendent's Cabinet leadership team, she also leads a team of five in the communications department and numerous outside school and department teams. Marla is responsible for managing all internal and external communications including strategic communications planning.

 

As the district spokesperson and community liaison, she manages CVSD media and community relations. Marla helped set up and continues to help manage system-based communications, social media and web site platforms for 30 schools. She oversees the district's print shop as well as leads district branding, publications and newsletters.  

 

Marla loves living up to her “Life Word: Ripple” by making a difference while cultivating and promoting the Central Valley education community in which she lives.
