Slight Shift in School Boundaries

Opportunity Elementary is on the move as our neighborhood continues to grow! 

As more families move in, some schools get very full while others have more space. To help, the school district is looking to shift boundary lines so students are shared more evenly.

This means some students may go to a different school next year. This helps keep class sizes fair and makes sure all students have enough space, teachers and support.

• Everyone is welcome to attend! 

You can see the new boundary ideas identified below, find out if your child’s school may change next year and give feedback.

Transition Plan:

All of our schools offer great learning, but families also have choices. After the final boundary decision, some families may choose to stay at Opportunity, but will need to provide transportation, if necessary. Kindergarten students will go to their new school. Students with older siblings may ask to stay together.

We will make all decisions with what is best for our students and families in mind.
