Mommy/Daddy and Me Playdate/Class

For CVSD parents/caregivers and their children ages 0-5.
When:  Wednesday, March 1st, 11 am- noon

WSU College of Nursing students will be giving an optional presentation on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) at the beginning of the class. The presentation will go over how traumatic events in a child’s early development can impact individuals. It will also introduce ways to prevent ACES or support kids who have experienced them. 
You are welcome to access the Food and Clothing Bank at the center after the class!

Love and Logic Parenting Classes

Spokane Valley Partners (SVP) Mobile Food Bank

SVP mobile distributions bring food to Spokane Valley locations so that they can help families suffering from food insecurity better their lives.
This is a drive-thru distribution of prepacked food boxes that include an assortment of nonperishable and fresh items will be distributed. This food distribution is open to the public, with no appointment or documentation required serving up to 150 families (one food box per car) while supplies last.

When:  Thursday, Mar. 16th, 4 to 6 PM

This government service is supported by the Affordable Connectivity Plan, successor to the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program.
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a government program that reduces the customer’s broadband internet access service bill. One discount per eligible household and is non-transferable across households. An eligible household may obtain ACP-supported broadband service from any participating provider of its choosing and may apply ACP benefit to any broadband service offering of the participating provider at the same terms available to households that are not eligible for ACP-supported service. Strengthening Families Parenting Class (10-14 years old)


Do you play a role in raising a child 10-14 years old? Preparing to raise a teen is hard! You don't have to do it alone! Strengthening Families (10-14 years old) helps you build on your family strengths, and encourage your youth to excel academically and socially. FREE childcare and giveaways every week!
