The primary objective in selecting instructional materials is to implement, enrich, and support the school’s education program. All core instructional materials will be selected in conformance with applicable state and federal laws, the district's learning standards, and state procedures established by the Instructional Materials Committee.
Our parents and community stakeholders will have an opportunity to be involved in this process.
One way to get involved is to be part of our Instructional Materials Review Committee. If you are interested and can commit up to 5 full days during the 2025-2026 school year (1/28, 2/24, 3/24, & 4/28) and 5-6 days during the 2026-2027 school year, please visit this link to apply.
In the spring of 2027, we will host a Community Preview Night so parents and community members can provide feedback to the committee before a recommendation is made to the Instructional Materials Committee and subsequently to the School Board.
Please complete and apply by Friday, December 5, 2025.
The selection committee will review all applications and select a balanced representation of committee members no later than December 19, 2025.
