Arrival: Please drop your student off at the SMS gym between 5:30 and 5:45 PM. Students will line up with their 3rd period teacher and classmates in preparation for the procession to the courtyard. All students who did not attend classes at SMS on June 17 need to arrive with a CVSD attestation ticket and have their temperatures taken.

Attire: To honor the importance of the event, students should wear their “nicer,” dress-code appropriate clothes. They will be walking across a stage to receive their certificates, so they should be mindful of which shoes they can easily walk in without tripping!

Photos: There are several locations for taking photos of students with their promotion certificates after the event. We have a backdrop, our graduation banner, or Wolf Pack fence display.

Guests: Please bring and set up your own chairs or blankets to sit on in the courtyard. The folding chairs are for our 8th grade students.

Please keep in mind our current CVSD expectations for attending extra-curricular events:
• If you are attending an event at one of our CVSD facilities you are attesting to not having Covid-19 symptoms.
• When you are on our school grounds, you must wear a proper face covering above your nose at all times.
• If there is more than one person from the same household attending the meet, please stay together as a family, and maintain a minimum of 6 feet from people outside your household.
• Please do not group up where students are present.
