Hello North Pines Families!
May is Mental Health Awareness month and this week at North Pines we are recognizing it with our Mental Health Awareness week, organized by our student club, Cubs for Justice.
We are going to be doing activities and talking about things like the function of feelings, coping skills, when to get help, and showing support for students and our community. Activities will happen during lunch and 5-10 minute mini-lessons will take place during one class each day.
Through a partnership with the Washington Education Association and FailSafe for Life we are able to offer a free virtual suicide prevention training next Thursday from 5pm to 6:30pm. Any interested parents or community members are welcome to participate!
