Hear how our custodians and nurses are creating a safe and healthy environment for our students. George Berryman, Head Custodian of Progress Elementary, says, "I think being part of the essential staff to help kids get back in to school means a lot to me. You know I have three kids of my own--they absolutely love going to school. We are doing our best to get rid of the germs and make sure that anything that is touched is cleaned again and again and again. Anything I can do to help is what I want to do--whatever it takes." William Bronsch, Head Custodian of Ponderosa Elementary, adds, "Our custodial staff has played an important part and a critical part in sanitizing our school; keeping classrooms and the hallways safe." Stephanie Lilljestrand, School Nurse, supplements, "Our nursing team is phenomenal! They have 12 certificated school nurses that are covering 28 buildings in our district. I get to be part of that and hopefully be that one person that could make a big difference for somebody. It's nice to be part of something that you know is benefitting the community and helping the kids have that teaching and social piece to their life back a little bit." Our health and wellness is made possible by local support. #CVSDHeathAndWellness #LocalSupport #WeAreCVSD #CommunityDriven #CVSDForwardTogether
