Elementary Summer Reading Camp
Summer Reading Camp focuses on intensive reading instruction for current 2nd and 3rd grade students with skills that are below benchmark. Reading Camp provides small group instruction using a wide variety of strategies and high interest materials. Attendance is FREE for those who qualify.
  • June 24–July 18  (no school July 4)
  • Monday–Thursday; 8:30 am–12:00 pm
  • Two locations: Greenacres Elementary & Opportunity Elementary
To register: Please speak to your child's teacher to obtain a registration form. Complete and return to your child’s teacher. Enrollment will be confirmed by a phone call or email from the Summer Reading Camp staff.
High School Summer School • Online Credit Advancement
A variety of courses are available to high school students who wish to advance, including Math, Health & Fitness, and Social Studies. See the Registration Form & Course List below for more information.
  • June 18 – July 25, 2019 (no school July 3-5)
  • Required Orientation: Tuesday, June 18, 2019, 9–10:00 am
High School Summer School • Credit Retrieval
A variety of academic opportunities are available to high school students who need to make up credits. Students may register for one or two classes. Review the choices available and register early. See the Registration Form & Letter below for more information.

Spokane Valley Tech
Explore high-growth careers, earn credit and gain valuable skills at SVT this summer! Students currently enrolled in grades 8-11 are encouraged to attend at no cost. Successful completion of each session earns a .5 elective/CTE credit. Two sessions are offered: June 17–July 2 and July 8–23, both from 7:30am –2:30pm. Students may attend up to one class per session.
