Guidelines for Students with Allergies
These guidelines provide an overview of how allergies are addressed in our schools. It lists a variety of resources and suggests how parents, students and staff can work together to create a safe and healthy environment for our students. Each situation is unique and needs to be addressed with a team approach.
Washington state law (RCW 28A.210.320), requires that all students with life threatening health conditions have the needed medical orders, medication/equipment and a nursing care plan in place before the child may attend school.
Any comments, ideas, or feedback may be directed to your building principal or the school nurse for your building.
