Voting Information
Spokane County conducts all elections by mail. Ballots for the February 3 election were mailed to the homes of all registered voters in mid-January. Voters have until February 3, 2009 to mail their ballots back to Spokane County or use a ballot drop box. Ballots must be postmarked by February 3 to be counted.
Ballot Drop Boxes are now open at the following locations:
- Argonne Library - 4322 N. Argonne Road
- Liberty Lake Library - 1421 N. Meadowwood Lane
- Spokane Valley Library - 12004 E. Main Avenue
- Otis Orchards Library - 22324 E. Wellesley Avenue
- STA Plaza - 701 W. Riverside Avenue
- Elections Office - 1033 W. Gardner Avenue
Ballot drop boxes will be locked promptly at 8 p.m. on Election Day, February 3.
The Voter Service Center located at CenterPlace - 2426 N. Discovery Place - Spokane Valley will be open on Election Day only from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters may drop off ballots, get replacement ballots or other assistance on Election Day.
The Spokane County Elections Office is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. to assist voters. The office is located at 1033 W. Gardner Avenue. Additional information is available at www.spokanecounty.org/elections or by calling (509) 477-2320.
