Central Valley Seeks Public Input on Capital Facilities
Central
Valley Seeks Public Input on Capital Facilities
Central
Valley School District parents, residents and community members are encouraged
to be part of the conversation about school buildings and facilities by
participating in the Capital Facilities Community Forum. The forum
will be held on November 12 from 7 - 8 p.m. at North
Pines Middle School, 701 N. Pines Road. The forum is the first in a series
of three events planned this year to gather public feedback as the Central
Valley School District works through the year-long process to develop a long
range capital facilities plan. Members of the district’s Capital Facilities
Planning Committee will facilitate the forum. Forum participants will hear an
update on the planning process and then be asked to share ideas, perceptions
and priorities about current and future school buildings in the Central Valley
School District. The input will be used by committee members as they develop a
list of recommended capital projects and a proposed 25-year long-range
construction bond plan for consideration by the School Board. For more
information, visit www.cvsd.org.
