Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Community:Welcome to University High School !

The new University High School is a 240,000 square foot state-of-the-art high school that first opened its doors for students and staff in September of 2002.  Our high school is home to grades nine through twelve with a little over seventeen hundred students.  Our students are served by approximately 85 certificated staff along with approximately 50 classified staff.

University High School ’s academic programs and courses are delivered through a master schedule that operates on a four-period day (extended periods of 75-80 minute blocks of time) trimester system.  Through the years, surveys of students, staff, and parents have continually overwhelmingly supported this schedule.

I believe that University High School has all the tools to achieve our Mission , Vision, and our annual School Improvement Goals.  We have an outstanding teaching staff, the very best of students, and parents who love their children and want the very best for them!
