Instrumental Music Parents Association
The UHS Instrumental Music Parent Association (IMP Assoc or IMPA) is simply a group working to provide the best music experiences for students … and it turns out to be a great experience for parents as well! We end up having a good time together AND after a while, the kids start greeting you from a distance. And they even smile at you – weird, huh? Well … maybe not your own kid, but other kids might.
You will find we are rather laid back and “IMP” is as much descriptive as it is part of our title. We work together to keep our costs low & to provide easy as possible fundraisers for the students. “More hands make less work” and more help also keeps thing cheap! We have activities year round --- even if your student is not enrolled every trimester.

Our kids don’t tell us anything either! Our goal is to keep the calendars here as up to date as possible. The IMPA provides a direct way to keep up to date on schedules & any fees that are due. You can contact us at the below email addresses if you have any questions.
Marching Band & Orchestra Fee fundraisers.
The greatest stress for families is how much things cost vs. how much you want your student to take part in. The IMP Association meetings are where we organize fundraisers AND put our heads together to find ways to decrease the cost & time involved in the many music activities available.
IMPA Meetings take place the 2nd Monday of each month, 7pm in the Music Room (except July)
Please come and add your voice to others as we encourage the art of music while still having fun!
