Daily Activities will include viewing the daily news with note taking. Lectures, small and large group discussions, video presentations and writing activities will also be part of the everyday regimen. Homework/ class work will be assigned everyday! The student will be responsible for getting there work at the appropriate time during class in case of an absence. Discussions about a student’s individual grade will not take place during class time! Student Access, before or after school will be the appropriate time for this.

Tests and Quizzes are structured from the textbook which means reading the assigned material is a must! If the student is absent tests and quizzes will be made up within one school week.

Daily News notes will be taken every day at the beginning of class. These notes will be turned in for points every Friday. When you come to class, you must be prepared to watch the news right after the bell rings. There is a zero tolerance policy when it comes to talking during this time…be quiet!
