Debate Class a.k.a. Philosophy, Economics and Government
are no longer required to be on the actual debate team in order to take this course. Basic debate skills are taught during team practice. This course is recommended for both debaters and non- debaters Students are introduced to the historical and philosophic underpinnings of world economic, ethical, and governmental systems. These strategies will benefit not only debaters, but any student entering a four-year university or seeking a two-year liberal arts degree.
This year we will focus on economics and political philosopy. Next year, we will focus on logic, ethics, and an introduction to basic philosophy.
