The Giving Tree

The Giving Tree began in 2002 by a group of students from Evergreen Middle School's Leadership Class.  The students wanted to make the holidays brighter for CV students who were experiencing homelessness.  In 2005, the Giving Tree grew to three sites Evergreen Middle School, Central Valley High School, and Bowdish Middle School.

The Giving Tree Program:

Since 2002, the Giving Tree Program has been organized by CV School District students from the Evergreen Middle School Leadership class, CV High School Counseling Assistants, and the Bowdish Middle School WEB class. The students set up the trees, sign out gift tags, and collect and wrap gifts.

The Giving Tree has also blessed by the generosity of numerous individuals, families and businesses over the years.  Thanks so much to the following families and businesses for your directly sponsoring the Giving Tree Program:

The Hunsaker/Osborne Family, Spokane Valley, WA
The Packebush Family, Spokane Valley, WA
Jones Produce, Quincy, WA
Hastings Entertainment, Corporate Headquarters in Odessa, TX
ICT, Spokane Valley, WA
Cindy and Dale Gibson, Ephrata, WA

Thank you to everyone who was involved in making the Giving Tree a success...
...student organizers, donors and everyone who bought gifts!
