The Giving Tree

The Giving Tree began in 2002 by a group of students from Evergreen Middle School's Leadership Class.  The students wanted to make the holidays brighter for CV students who were experiencing homelessness.  In 2005, the Giving Tree grew to three sites Evergreen Middle School, Central Valley High School, and Bowdish Middle School.

The Giving Tree Program:

Since 2002, the Giving Tree Program has been organized by CV School District students from:

Evergreen Middle School Leadership class
CV High School Advisory Class of Mrs. Johnson
CV High School Counseling Assistants
CV High School Honor Society
Bowdish Middle School WEB class
Bowdish Middle School Students and Staff

The students set up the trees, sign out gift tags, and collect and wrap gifts.
