Dear Parents and Community,
Welcome to an outstanding school. At Liberty Lake Elementary we offer the best possible educational program for all children to meet both their academic and emotional needs. As a staff, we are dedicated to fostering a safe environment and teaching to the highest educational standards. We are continually reviewing test scores and teaching strategies to maximize students' learning experience throughout their kindergarten through fifth-grade experience. Each month Learning Teams made up of a teacher and specialists from each grade level meet to share their current curriculum focus in the areas of math, reading and written language. Our goals are to share strategies and to create a seamless learning experience as students move through the grade levels. We believe in a shared pool of knowledge and a team approach to meet the individual learning needs.
We recognize the fact that parents are their child's first teacher and we want to continue to build a strong partnership between home and school. Our parents continue to be a strong asset to our total school program. More than 250 volunteer parents visit our school to help in the classrooms on a weekly basis. Their stong emotional support and the PTSA involvement make for a wonderful place for children to succeed.
