School Day

SVLA offers two schedule options for our elementary students.

We offer a one-day-a-week section in which the students may take Theme Block, Health & Fitness, Spanish, Art, Science, math problem solving and technology classes . The school day begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. Children are given a break for lunch and recess.

We also offer a two-half-day section in which elementary children attend Tuesday and Thursday afternoons beginning at 11:50 and dismissing at 2:30. Theme Block, Activity Time, Spanish, Art, Science, math problem solving and technology classes are offered.

Middle School and High School students are offered only one schedule option.

Middle School and High School students attend a two-half-day section on Tuesday and Thursday mornings beginning at 8:00 and dismissing at 11:15. Students may enroll in Science, Spanish, Writing, Computers, Math, and Art.
