Central Valley High School Concert Orchestra

Course Description: Students who play stringed instruments will rehearse and perform music from orchestra traditions, chamber music and solo literature, jazz and world folk music. String techniques and fundamentals will be taught and applied to performance. Students will learn to collaborate on musical projects and demonstrate understanding. The class will perform in local and regional festivals, concerts, CVHS musicals, and competitions. Rehearsals in and out of school required.

Solo and Ensemble was this Saturday, February 10, 2007 at University High School. The String department proved once again that we are growing strong, and plan to keep producing fine musicians that represent Central Valley High School!
