Health and Fitness (P.E.) Classroom Expectations

1) Follow the directions the first time.

2) Enter and Exit the gym properly.

3) Be respectful to all students and teachers.

4) Wear appropriate shoes, socks, and clothing.


P.E. SHOES

P.E. shoes need to be SAFE. Students should wear tennis shoes with a flat
sole and the laces tied tightly. Appropriate P.E. shoes are safe for
running, jumping, and landing. Rough soled shoes (waffles), snow boots,
high heels, open toes and heels (sandals, flip-flops, clogs, slip-ons) are
UNSAFE for P.E. activities.

P.E. shoes are required to participate during P.E. time. Please ask your
child what days their class has P.E. so you can help them remember to wear
tennis shoes or just put a pair in their backpacks.
