Screenings

Hearing and vision screening is done on all students in grades K, 1, 2, 3, 5. The screening is usually done sometime during the first three months of the school year.

Scoliosis screening is done on 5th grade only in the elementary school. Parents will be notified of the screening date 1-2 weeks ahead of time.

The parent/guardian of the child will only be notified of the screening results if there is a problem. The screening results are recorded on each individual child's health record.
