Measurement 

Kindergarteners learn a variety of ways to measure. They measure objects using various "units" of measurement. For example, the boys and girls may measure objects using unifix cubes or small plastic frogs. They learn how to label the "unit" of measurement. Finally, kindergarteners also have the opportunity to experiment with rulers and learning about "inches". Here are some pictures of how I teach measurement in class!
