Writing
In each of our classrooms, we implement the "workshop model". We guide instruction through mini-lessons and plenty of writing time!! Our students are encouraged to use pictures and words (with inventive spelling) to write stories about their lives! Each child has the opportunity to write at their own developmental level. We take an authentic approach to designing a positive atmosphere, where students feel safe in their abilities to write!
