Voyagers

The Voyager House is made up of three base camp classes. The base camp class is a student’s homeroom. The three base camp teachers are Mrs. Dhillon, Mr. Powell and Mr. Jones.

All state GLEs for reading writing, social studies, and science are covered in the Expeditions.  Math is covered by using the district adopted “Math Connects” series.  Mr. Powell is in charge of the Math curriculum.  Mr. Jones takes care of the Science GLEs. Mrs. Dhillon teaches to the Social Studies GLEs. Both Mr. Jones and Mrs. Dhillon make sure that the Reading, Writing are taught in expeditions. Health and Fitness standards are met in many ways: team sports during the year, physical fitness community time classes, YMCA weight training, our Human Body science expedition, and our adventure program.
