Snow Day Make Up Information
The Central Valley School Board has voted not to require students to make up three missed days of school due to snow closures on January 28, 30 and 31. The vote was contingent on approval of a waiver request submitted to the state, which has been granted. This means the 2007-08 Central Valley School District calendar will remain unchanged, with schools closed for spring break from March 31-April 4 and the last day of school on June 13. The School Board action does not apply to teachers and other certificated employees who must make up the three missed days. Planning is underway for professional development activities on these three days to support student learning.
