Counselor

Hello,

My name is Janet McDonald and I am pleased to be the School Counselor at Summit School.  Let me tell you a few things about myself.  In 1994 I graduated from Gonzaga University completing my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. As I began my career in education I continued my education at Whitworth College receiving my Masters of Arts degree in School Counseling. 

In the Counseling Program at Summit I am pleased to offer individual counseling, small group counseling, classroom meetings, large group guidance, and parent assistance.  If you have any questions or if I may be of assistance and support to your child/children please feel free to contact me at 228-4261.  My office is located in the Media Center and my door is open unless I am with a parent or student.  My time is shared between Greenacres Middle School and Summit School.  I am available at Summit School every Monday and Wednesday and half time on Friday.  However, if you need to reach me please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible.
