Q: As a class advisor, will my class officers be listed on “ My Classes”?
A: Yes you will need to request that they be added as an activity at the building level.
Q: Do you have to re-create the “student roster report” each week if using it for an attendance chart?
A: Reports are archived in your "My Reports" until you delete them. However, if you get a new student you will have to run a new report and delete the old one.
Q: Does TAC show excused and unexcused tardies and keep track of these?
A: No, it just shows tardies.
Q: Are there other arrangements besides a grid (U-Shaped, clusters, etc.) and can you print without pictures and add other furniture?
A: No. The only current format that this program provides is the grid formation, however you can cluster your students if you make your grid big enough.
Q: Can you create a seating chart when you have 50-60 kids (ex: band)?
A: Yes. You have the option to create a grid with a 10X10 grid, giving you the opportunity to put up to 100 kids on your seating chart. Unfortunately, this will be a grid format and may not match your current seating format.
Q: Can you move a student to a new location on the seating chart?
A: Yes. You can move a student to a new location by simply clicking and dragging that student to their new location.
Q: How do we randomize the seating chart?
A: There is currently no way to perform this procedure.
Q: Do seating chart changes all have to be done by hand?
A: When you choose to print, in the print properties, choose to print at 125%.
