Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Community:

I am pleased to report to you that North Pines continues the process toward achieving educational excellence. While continued improvements are always necessary, I feel we have made progress toward improving educational opportunities for our children.

Our 7th Grade Block continues to provide excellent opportunities for our young people to learn and adapt to junior high life. Our 8th Grade Language Arts curriculum offers students the chance to meet in blocks to promote success. These are a few examples of how our curriculum has been adjusted and improved because of the Essential Learnings!

The building leadership team is currently comprised of seven teachers who assist the administration in setting direction for curriculum, activities and general policies. This fine group of professional individuals devotes many hours to our school. They are Diane Chapman, Del Guenther, Tom Kendall, Bill Palmer, Carolyn Schafer, Deb Short and Randey Thompson. In addition, our Counselors, Mrs. Worthington and Mrs. Triber-Brown continue to assist students through our Guidance Department.

"Cub Pride" is a central theme! We are proud of our school and its accomplishments. We do not hesitate to brag about our students. Just ask us!

Sincerely,
Dave Bouge
Principal
