Achievements/Programs/Events |
Chester Elementary provides a variety of
activities and programs making for a most exciting school year.
These activities include, but are not limited to: participation
in the Spokane County DARE program for sixth grade students, exciting
Christmas programs, a variety of programs supported by our PTA
including Music For Youth programs, an exciting and informative Back
to School Night that allows parents the opportunity to visit their
children’s classrooms and also learn more about the operation of the
PTA and principal, numerous Skate Nights, several Book Fairs, grade
six challenges with the entire staff in the areas of basketball,
volleyball and baseball, a wonderful DARE graduation program and sixth
grade video revealing many of the activities that the sixth grade
students have participated in during their final elementary school
year.

| A NOTE FROM THE CHESTER PTA :
Chester has a very active PTA that
works hard to enhance every student’s education.
Fundraising activities are balanced through active parent
participation in programs such as Art Docent, Science Fair, Block Watch,
Book Fair, Care Committee, Classroom Volunteer program, computer
support, hospitality bakers, PTA Newsletter, parent Advisory Committee,
Reflections Program, Room Parent Program and Imagination Celebration
Week activities. The Chester PTA really cares!
