1.
We have a STAR team which deals with
at-risk children’s problems.
2.
The Blake Bobcat Club emphasizes excellence in academics and
behavior.
3.
Blake has a breakfast program for our students.
4.
We have the SMART program for after school intramural sports,
Chess Club, Homework House and Math College.
5.
We have a televised news program, called Live on Five, which
highlights student achievements, activities and building events.
This news program is run by the students.
6.
Our Student Council supports programs such as The Ronald McDonald
House, Ellis Island Foundation, The Red Cross, World Wildlife Fund, and
Spokane Children’s Museum.
7.
Our PTO provides cultural support to us through assemblies in the
various arts and technological contributions of hardware and software.
8.
We have many hardworking volunteers.
9.
We are the recipient of a 21st Century Grant that has
allowed us to provide Success Academy after school and summer programs.
10.
We are the recipient of a “Gates” technology grant.
11.
We have proudly offered Love and Logic parenting classes for our
com
munity
