Rehabilitation Act of 1973

Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 is a Federal civil rights statute barring discrimination on the basis of one's disability. It is the policy of the Central Valley School District not to discriminate on the basis of disability in our educational programs, activities or employment policies, as required by the Act.  

Notice of Public Input for Annual Special Education IDEA Federal Grant

The district is asking for public input on their current draft of the annual special education IDEA Federal Grant.  This grant is submitted annually and assists with the educational expenditures for services to individuals with disabilities ages three through twenty-one.  Interested parties may obtain a copy of the draft proposal from Carrie Dahmen, Secretary, Central Valley School District Educational Services Center, 19307 East Cataldo, Spokane Valley from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.  Written input will be accepted by the district until 4:00 p.m. on January 12, 2007.
