We have one science unit per grading period. Each unit has several hands-on experiements and practice with the scientific method in listing steps of procedures used. The grading for science consists of the student workbook (50%) and the unit quiz (50%). Students with the lowest grades in science are the ones who do not study the amount of time alloted on the assignment sheet for the quiz, and are off task during our experiments in class. Those who stay focused and study hard are very successful.
