Student Registration
New Student Registration
Students new to the Central Valley School District should visit their "home" school to complete the registration process. View the maps of enrollment boundaries to determine your home school. Registration occurs throughout the school year, for students moving into the district in grades K-12.
Be aware that your student may be transported to another school in the district, if classroom space is not available in your "home" school.
Kindergarten Registration - Begins March 6, 2008 for the 2008/09 School Year
Families of students entering kindergarten are encouraged to visit the school your child will attend to register. Registration is available during school hours, beginning on March 6, 2008 for the 2008/09 school year. To enroll in Kindergarten, the child must be five years of age on or before August 31. Newly-enrolling first grade students must be six years of age on or before August 31, unless they have previously attended a public or accredited private kindergarten.
Central Valley schools offer several Kindergarten options. Click here to learn more.
Come prepared to show the following documents to school officials:
- Current Immunization Records
- State-certified Birth Certificate (official document, not the souvenir certificate presented by some hospitals)
- Proof of residence -- address verified by copy of current utility bill
The registration process is not complete until all immunizations are completed. Space cannot be held for students with incomplete immunizations.
