Classroom Environment

As a learning support teacher, I am able to provide small or large group instruction for students in math and/or reading. I am currently teaching problem solving in all of the classrooms in grades 2-5. I also provide staff development in the area of math.

About Me

I am excited to be a learning support teacher this year! I have been teaching at Ponderosa since 1992 and have taught grades 2, 3, and 4. I have a B.A. from Whitworth and have a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley College.

When I am not teaching I enjoy watching my children's sports, snow skiing, quilting, figuring out logic problems, and relaxing at the lake.

Schedule

The schedule for Learning Support is very flexible throughout the year. It depends on staff and student needs.
