Classroom Environment

Kindergarten is a special year full of excitement and new experiences. Our classroom is a small community where teamwork and good relationships are expected. It is important to me to create an environment where children feel safe and comfortable in which to learn and play.

About Me

I have been teaching in the Central Valley School District for 17 years. I have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with Specialization in Early Childhood Education. I began working as an ECEAP preschool teacher and then a kindergarten teacher at Broadway. I have been teaching at Ponderosa for 13 years. I have taught half day kindergarten, K/1, First grade and All Day kindergarten at Ponderosa.
