Classroom Environment

I strive to make my classroom environment very welcoming and safe. My students know that they are here to learn and that their education is very important. In my class my students feel comfortable to participate because they know that nothing they say is incorrect, as long as they participate and try. I always tell my kiddos, "It is better to try and fail, than to never try at all!"

About Me

I have been teaching in the Central Valley School Distict since 2006 and have enjoyed every minute of it. I graduated from Washington State University in 2002 and am currently taking classes through Whitworth University to further my education. I am married to a wonderful man named Kale who is a sixth grade teacher out in Rathdrum. I enjoy spending time outdoors, riding my bike, reading a good book, and being with my family as much as possible.

Schedule

*Wear your running shoes for PE on Tuesday and Friday
*Bring your library books back to school on Tuesday
*Warm up those voices for music on Monday and Wednesday
*Work out your fingers for computer lab on Thursdays
