First grade is a year full of excitement and new experiences. Our classroom is a small community where teamwork and good relationships are expected. It is important to me to create an environment where children feel safe and comfortable in which to learn.

About Me
I have been teaching in the Central Valley School District for 19 years. I have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with Specialization in Early Childhood Education. I began working as an ECEAP preschool teacher and then a kindergarten teacher at Broadway. I have been teaching at Ponderosa for 14 years. I have taught half day kindergarten, K/1, All Day kindergarten and first grade at Ponderosa.
