Helpful hints for parents
Here are a few ideas for parents: Because we are in Kindergarten for half days, please try to give your child time to play and exercise when they are not at school. If the weather allows, they should be outside for fresh air. Unfortunately, we cannot go to recess every day because of our tight schedule.
Board games are a great way to have children learn math skills. Some good choices for this age are Candyland, Trouble, and any other simple games where rolling a dice and moving a marker are involved. Enjoy your family time together! :)
Another great reading website for you to use to read books together with your children is: www.tumblebooklibrary.com. The user name is Opportunity and the password is books. Please let me know what you think if you get on this website! :)
