About Me

I am enjoying my fourth year of teaching at Opportunity Elementary. In 2002 I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a major in Reading and a minor in Special Education. Because learning and teaching are so important to me, I continued my thirst for knowledge and completed my Master's Degree in June 2006 in Literacy at Gonzaga University. GO ZAGS! Currently, I am earning my National Board Certificate. This is a rigorous program in which I must prove that I am a highly accomplished teacher. I am excited for the challenge!
