October Newsletter
Reading Our weekly stories include Mrs. Brown Went to Town, Martha and George, and we will finish our Silly Stories theme with the Focus on Genre: Poetry. The last week of October we will start our new theme Nature Walk and read the story Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night. The week of October 30 through November 2 we will be reading Exploring Parks with Ranger Dockett. Spelling Words

Unit 2: Addition and Subtraction Facts. We will be taking an assessment on Unit 2. The last week of October we will be starting Unit 3: Place Value, Money, and Time 
We work together to build fact power!
Science We will be completing our unit and taking an assessment on Systems. Students have been learning about the circulatory system, the solar system, and the water cycle.
