Principals Message

Welcome to our web page. I am pleased you have shown an interest in our school.  North Pines has been part of the valley scene for over 60 years.  We are serving 2nd and 3rd generations of North Pines Cubs. 

North Pines started as Central Valley Junior High, changing the name to North Pines in the late 1950's.  We have served many families over the years and we look forward to many years of educational service in the future.

 I urge you to move around our web pages, look at curriculum information, staff information, current events and activities. You will gain a great deal of information about us. We have links that will answer questions about district policy, sport programs, curriculum, and school calendars.   We feature an intramural program for our 6^th graders, and a full sports program for our 7^th and 8^th graders. Our ASB is active in the community and our “Cub Pride” program has received wonderful reviews. 

Many of our staff has been part of the North Pines scene for several years. We have experienced teachers who understand our student population and their families. We have also worked hard to hire new teachers with strong experience and recommendations. We believe we offer a great educational package with a strong dedicated staff to support it.

It is our belief that quality instruction is the key to student success, our staff works constantly to improve instruction. They have received many hours of in-service and training to improve classroom instruction. They support our students while challenging them to grow and improve.

Finally, our communication lines are always open. You will find our e mail addresses on this web site. I would like to encourage you to contact my staff, or myself if you have any questions or concerns. It is our belief that good communication between home and school will result in higher student achievement. We look forward to working with you.
