21st Century After School Program
"Success Academy"
We still have 15 spots available for our after school program. Programming runs from 2:45 pm to 4:15 pm, Tuesday through Thursday in the library. There is no activity bus this year, so students will need to be picked up by 4:15 or walk home. Car pooling is encouraged. Registration forms are available in the office. Last year's students must re-register for this school year.
This year's Success Academy is focussing on homework help, increasing math scores, and enrichment activities that use math and science skills. Next spring we will be adding literacy as well. Currently we are offering Forensic Science and Science Olympiad and field trips are being planned for those students who have regular attendance, positive behavior and a positive attitude.
Morning tutoring sessions are available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:15 to 7:45 for students in the program who are in sports, or for any students enrolled who want help with their school work in the mornings. Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity for your child. The program will be limited to 75 students total.
