High School Registration
U-High and CVSD counselors will be talking to our 8th graders on March 18th about registering for high school classes.
CV will return on March 21st to collect forms.
U-High will return on March 25th to collect registration forms.
To see information about the high school requirements & career paths, please read the Directions Guidebook. All eighth grade students were given a copy to share with their parents during the career unit.
Junior Achievement
On February 6, we started a Junior Achievement unit in the 8th grade social studies classes. Volunteers from Horizon Credit Union will be coming in once a week for seven weeks to talk to the students about careers, credit, budgets, insurance, and decision-making involving those topics. We will tie that into our career unit. Eighth graders are expected to have a designated career path by the time they register for high school classes in March. This path is not written in stone, of course, but it is designed to assist them in making class choices.
