About Me

I grew up in Frenchtown, Montana, and graduated from Carroll College in Helena, MT, in 1996 with my BAs in Psychology and Secondary Education with an emphasis in Speech-Communication Theory and a minor in special education. I had taught in a resource room in Nevada for 5 years before earning my master's degree in school counseling from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2001. I had been a counselor for four years in the same NV middle school before moving to Spokane. I've been the counselor at NPMS since October 2005.

On a personal note, I live on the north side of Spokane with my husband, two daughters (ages 5 and 1), and dog. Most of my time is spent chasing the kids around. However, when I do have some spare time (ha!), I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and sleeping.
