The outstanding contributions of Central Valley School District employees and community members are recognized each year by the Board of Directors through the Meritorious Service Awards. Initiated by the School Board in 1985, the awards honor exemplary contributions by individuals and organizations toward student achievement and our district’s primary focus – learning and teaching.
Employees, parents, students and community members are urged to nominate outstanding individuals for service to students and the district no later than February 16 in the following four categories: certificated employee, classified employee, team and community member/organization. The accomplishments of every nominee will be celebrated by School Board members during in-school visits from February 28 through March 25. The Board will consider all nominees as they select, announce and recognize district-wide honorees in each category at the March 28 meeting. Nomination packets will be out in schools this week in addition to the online nomination forms below.
