Community Invited to "Meet the Principal Candidates" Forum
Finalists Vie for Evergreen Middle School Position on July 1

Evergreen Middle School parents, staff and interested community members are encouraged to attend a special “Meet the Candidates” Forum on July 1 from 5 – 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium at 14221 E. 16th Avenue.
The forum will feature the three finalists for the position of Evergreen Middle School principal left vacant by the recent retirement of Dave Feldhusen. The finalists include:
· John Parker – assistant principal, Evergreen Middle School
· Kimberly Stretch – assistant principal, Garry Middle School (Spokane)
· Grant “Butch” Walter – assistant principal, Central Valley High School
Each candidate will spend 30 minutes speaking about their qualifications for the position and responding to questions from forum participants. Participants will be invited to submit written feedback about the finalists for consideration by the selection committee.
Evergreen Middle School is one of 22 schools in the Central Valley School District. The school is one of five middle schools in the district with an enrollment of about 600 students in grades 6-8.
