Tom Dingus, CPA, currently president, was appointed to the board in January 2005 to complete an unexpired term. He was elected to the position in November 2005. Dingus is a graduate of Central Washington University with a bachelor of science in Accounting. He is the managing partner of Dingus, Zarecor & Associates and has been a practicing Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1987 specializing in healthcare and public sector organizations. Dingus has previously been involved in community and professional organizations including The Arc of Spokane, United Way and Healthcare Financial Management Association. Dingus has two daughters who attend Central Valley schools. He volunteers in his daughters’ classrooms and activities and coaches their soccer teams.

Cindy McMullen, currently vice president, was elected to the board in 1987. During her tenure, she has served in various board leadership positions, including five years as president. She was elected president of the Washington State School Directors’ Association (WSSDA) in 2007 and is currently past president. McMullen is also serving as the Pacific Region representative to the National School Boards Association Policies and Resolutions Committee. She completed the Leadership WSSDA program in 1998 and is a current member of the WSSDA training team. McMullen holds degrees from Stanford University and Gonzaga University School of Law. She has been a practicing attorney since 1979, specializing in municipal law. McMullen is a past president of the Washington State Association of Municipal Attorneys, past chair of the Spokane County Civil Service Commission and a graduate of Leadership Spokane. She has been involved in a wide variety of civic activities including Girl Scouts of America, Rotary International and Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce. She received the Spokane YWCA Woman of Achievement in Education Award in 1997. Her three grown daughters are graduates of Central Valley schools. |

Debra Long, currently legislative liaison, was elected to the board in 2003. She is the immediate past board president. Long was elected to serve on Washington State School Board Directors (WSSDA) legislative committee in 2003 and is vice chair of this committee. Long also serves on WSSDA’s Federal Relations Network committee and WSSDA’s Foundation board as their auction chairperson. Long is a member of the Central Valley Band & Colorguard booster organization and has been their craft fair chairperson since 1994. Long also serves as a volunteer coordinator for Bloomsday. She is a graduate of Eastern Washington University and holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources and a masters degree in Public Administration. She also holds an Accounting degree from SFCC. Long is employed as the Accounting Manager for Rockwood Retirement Community. Her two children graduated from Central Valley High School. |

Anne Long was elected to the board in 2001. She has served two terms as board president and as legislative liaison. She has a long history of community volunteerism. Long was actively involved in the formation of the City of Liberty Lake, served for three years as PTA president and one year as Central Valley PTA Council president. Prior to her election to the board, she was also a member of the Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Committee (PAC). Long has been an active volunteer on the campaign trail, working on Central Valley bond and levy measures and statewide initiatives since 1996. She also participates in Sunday School and worship team at her church. A Certified Personnel Consultant, Long has recently returned to college and is working toward a degree in the mental health profession. Her son graduated from Central Valley High School in 2007. |

Keith Clark, D.V.M., was elected to the board in November 2007. He holds a degree from the University of Idaho and a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Washington State University. Clark owns and operates Pet Vet Hospital and Wellness Center. Before moving to the Spokane Valley in May 1995, he previously practiced veterinary medicine in Arizona and Idaho. He oversees the seminary and institute programs for his church, is involved in Boy Scouts of America and volunteers for Pet Rescue and Spokane Humane Society. He also volunteers in Central Valley schools. Clark has seven children, including several graduates of Central Valley schools. |
